Cancellation Policy
Clear guidelines on cancellation timelines and associated fees.
1. General Cancellation Guidelines
We highly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations. If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email. The cancellation is effective only from the date we receive the written notification.
2. Cancellation Timeline & Fees
The following standard cancellation fees apply, calculated as a percentage of the total package cost:
| Days Prior to Departure | Cancellation Fee |
|---|---|
| 30+ days | 10% of total cost |
| 15 to 29 days | 25% of total cost |
| 7 to 14 days | 50% of total cost |
| Less than 7 days | 75% of total cost |
| Day of travel / No Show | 100% (No Refund) |
3. Process for Cancellation
- Send an email to support@rajanbookings.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request: [Your Booking ID]".
- Include the primary traveler's name, booking dates, and reason for cancellation.
- Our team will respond within 24 hours confirming the receipt of your request and detailing the cancellation charges applicable.
4. Exceptions and Special Cases
Peak Season / Holiday Bookings: Bookings made for peak travel periods (e.g., Diwali, Christmas, New Year) may carry stricter cancellation policies, sometimes up to 100% non-refundable at the time of booking. This will be communicated at the time of booking.
Airline Cancellations: Flight tickets are subject to the specific airline's cancellation policy. If an airline reschedules or cancels a flight, we will assist you in getting a refund or rebooking, but we are not liable for the airline's independent fees.
Force Majeure: In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, or government travel bans, standard cancellation policies may be suspended. We will offer credit notes or flexible rebooking options as determined by our suppliers.
